Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Every workspace starts with a 30-day free trial on Pro-level limits — no card, no commitment. You choose a plan only when you're ready.

What does an implementation include?

We set your business up on EPEX Build for a fixed one-time price under $5,000: your workspace and logo, projects and budgets, customer portals, draws and lender packages, migration from your spreadsheets, and training for office and field. The plan underneath is required — it is the hosting, AI and support.

Do owners and subcontractors use up seats?

Never. Seats are only for your own team. Invite every owner and sub at no charge, on every plan — owners get a read-only portal scoped to their own unit.

What happens when I hit my plan's project limit?

Archive a finished project to free the slot — nothing is deleted, and you can bring it back whenever a slot is open — or upgrade in two clicks from your billing page.

Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?

Yes — yearly is 2 months free. Choose either when you subscribe; already on a plan, you can switch from “Manage billing” in your workspace settings.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

It stays put. Your workspace is suspended, not deleted — everything is exactly as you left it, and access resumes the moment a plan is active again. Want your data out instead? Email us and we'll get it to you.

Is my data really isolated from other companies?

Yes — isolation is enforced by Postgres row-level security in the database itself, not just the interface. It's the same mechanism that keeps each owner inside their own unit.
